Social media policy

The i-PRO Group*1 (hereinafter referred to as "i-PRO") has established the "i-PRO Social Media Policy" (hereinafter: "this Policy") to set rules regarding the operation of our company's social media accounts and the utilization of social media by each officer*2 and employees*3. We will make our best effort to use social media safely and appropriately in accordance with this Policy.

 

1. Purpose of utilizing social media

i-PRO utilizes social media to publish information to educate customers and the public about our company. 

Specifically, we utilize social media for the following purposes:

  1. To provide information to a wider audience on i-PRO's products, services, events, and corporate activities.
  2. To build better customer relationships and help increase customer satisfaction.
  3. To help build i-PRO brand awareness and trust.

 

2. Considerations when utilizing social media

i-PRO recognizes that social media is available globally, transcending borders, cultures and races to connect people worldwide. Once messages are posted, they cannot be retracted completely. We will respect others and utilize social media with common sense.

  1. We will comply with the laws and regulations of each country and region, and also comply with related social norms and internal regulations and rules in accordance with i-PRO's Code of Conduct.
  2. We will respect human rights, and not disrespect or insult specific individuals, groups, ethnic groups, ideas, beliefs, religions, politics, etc., nor defame, or make offensive, discriminatory, sexual, or exclusive expressions or statements.
  3. We will respect the intellectual property rights, copyrights, privacy and other rights of third parties, and will take care not to infringe upon them.
  4. We will be careful about the content of information we share and how we share it, and we will endeavor to not spread false information or cause misunderstandings.
  5. We will clearly separate official communications representing the company from personal communications and will strive to avoid confusion.
  6. We will be fully aware of the impact of what we say on social media, respect recipients of our messages, and communicate and respond honestly.
  7. We will strive to provide accurate information based on facts and to clearly state the source of the information as much as possible.
  8. We will abide by the rules and regulations set by each company operating social media and will respect the culture and etiquette.
  9. We will not intentionally control discussions, reactions, etc. regarding payments of money or engage in stealth marketing.

Any use (including copying, modification, distribution, etc.) of this information without permission is prohibited.
